Campus placement or campus interview is the program conducted within educational institutes or in a common place to provide jobs to students pursuing or in the stage of completing the programme. In this programme, industries visit the colleges to select students depending on their ability to work, capability, focus and aim. The final placement of JIS students is of paramount importance as it not only enhances the creditability of the Institutes for the purpose of attracting meritorious fresher but also increases the motivation of current students in pursuit of academic excellence and for acquiring diverse skill sets. Such multiplier effect is a win – win approach for all concerned.
Training & Placement Cell acts as one of the major interfaces with the corporate sector and helps in developing the industry-academia inter-relationship.
JIS placement officers bear special responsibility to interact with officers of Human Resources division of a large number of Private Sector & Public Sector undertakings to ensure successful campus recruitment activities to meet the aspirations and hope of all students.
